My face when a big hunk of meat shows up at my door 👅👀🤣 — but seriously have you tried Butcher Box? #notsponsoredbutiwishitwas I signed up for #butcherbox at the beginning of quarantine when grocery stores were sold out of everything. It seemed expensive & a little weird to order MEATS on the internet but now I’m sold on it! .
WHAT I LOVE ABOUT BUTCHER BOX
.
Quality!! I’ve been so impressed with each piece of #grassfed & #organicmeat that we’ve ordered. All of the covid meat factories on the news freak me out. Butcher Box was premium before any of the 2020 dumpster fire so I feel good about their processes. .
Selection. Each month there are several different cuts/options for Seafood, Chicken, Pork & Beef & it has been helping me try new things! I tend to get stuck in a rut & grab the same groceries over and over at the grocery store- but not with Butcher Box.
.
Meal Planning – Picking our my meats and my ship date keeps me organized! I pick out what I want, place my order & bookmark any new recipes I want to try & my #mealplanning is basically done. .
Convenient – All meats come frozen, so I don’t have to worry about anything going bad if there are last minute changes to our schedule. The part of me that remembers being BROKE absolutely hates throwing out well intentioned fresh food – and keeping them in the freezer pretty much ensures this never happens! Part of my new morning routine is pulling whatever I have planned for dinner out of the freezer to thaw on the counter. I go ahead and set any other room temp ingredients beside it and it makes the hands on dinner prep go quickly. .
#budgetfriendly – I have found that I spend less on food now than I used to, which was a surprise! I think it’s a combo of less waste plus literally ALWAYS having an at-home dinner option – we never have to go out to eat because we need to go to the store because our freezer stays stocked. .
Our favorites so far have been bacon, scallops (bacon wrapped scallops mmm), pork butt, pork chops & sirloin steaks! The ground sausage too! .

Unfortunately, Butcher Box isn’t accepting new customers right now but I will try to update this post as soon as they start again!
